Seminarians of Our Congregation

Seminarians of the Fathers of Mercy, a Roman Catholic religious Order of missionary preachers, study at
Holy Apostles Seminary in Cromwell, Connecticut. This year, we have four men studying at Holy Apostles.

Brother Bill Bellrose with a friend, Br. Michael of the Friars of the Renewal, at Holy Apostles Seminary.

The Fathers of Mercy is a Clerical Congregation of Pontifical Right recognized for its loyalty to Rome and support of Church teachings. The Community continues to carry on a 198-year-old tradition of bringing the Mercy of God to the prodigal children of our times. Founded in 1808 in Lyon, France, by Father Jean Baptiste Rauzan, the Order still carries-on faithfully the Apostolic works originally intended by its Founder: primarily, the preaching of parish missions and, secondarily, the staffing of rural parishes. Today, the Community's mission Priests preach parish missions throughout the United States and Canada. Other members assist in the staffing of rural parishes in the state of Kentucky.

The Community is always looking for good, solid men to spread the Mercy of God to all. If you're a man between the ages of 18 and 40 and believe that God may be calling you to pursue a religious vocation, especially as a missionary preacher, please contact our Vocation Director:
